Wisdom Word For January 2025: “God’s Word Never Fails”

“Listen carefully, my dear child, to everything that I teach you, and pay attention to all that I have to say. Fill your thoughts with my words until they penetrate deep into your spirit. Then, as you unwrap my words, they will impart true life and radiant health into the very core of your being. So, above all, guard the affections of your heart, for they affect all that you are. Pay attention to the welfare of your innermost being, for from there flows the wellspring of life. Avoid dishonest speech and pretentious words. Be free from using perverse words no matter what!” [Proverbs 4:20-24 TPT]

First, we must submit ourselves and give God’s Word our full attention and devotion. This will position our hearts and minds to the fullest revelation the Word provides. Revelation (Revealed truth) is the doorway to victory and overcoming power in this world. Second, we must guard our hearts and minds from evil and sin.

By not putting ourselves in front of compromise and even the slightest sight of worldly and carnal acts. Since these types of things happen all around us, we must hold fast to our positive faith-filled confession. Speaking life into death and blessing the cursed thing. Choosing to engage at all times in the Life of Christ’s Word in us, encroaching darkness flees from the Light of God’s Word.

“… Believe in the Lord your God, so shall ye be established; believe his prophets, so shall ye prosper.” [2 Chronicles 20:20 KJV]

King Jehoshaphat knew the power of God’s Promises can never fail you and I. The words of God are the victory for the church today. They never fail! Jehoshaphat sent out the singers and praisers marching before the army of God saying, ‘Praise the Lord for His mercy endures forever.’

“And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten (meaning: they turned against each other).” [2 Chronicles 20:22 KJV]

God’s Word declared, praised, and spoken sends confusion into the devil’s camp and destroys that which seeks to destroy you and I. Be faithful to God’s Word this year. Let us commit ourselves to the study and declaration of His faithful promises and trust Him completely.

Love Always Wins,

Pastors Rick & Sheryl
