Wisdom Word for August 2025: Faith Like Abraham, Living Faith

[Mark 11:22-24 KJV] “And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

This section of Scripture is the New Testament model for the prayer of Faith. In truth, every prayer should be a prayer of faith. Born in your spirit, formed into words, and spoken aloud through your mouth.

Living faith is active, never dormant. Faith lays hold of God’s words and promises and creates Life. Faith is the substance, the power of God within the believer. Faith is opposed to fear and faith moves best in difficult circumstances. Faith sees the solution before it manifests and calls things that don’t exist into Life. Faith is God’s divine power substance, which produces a confession that overcomes every obstacle. 

[Romans 1:17 TPT] “This gospel unveils a continual revelation of God’s righteousness—a perfect righteousness given to us when we believe. And it moves us from receiving life through faith to the power of living by faith. This is what the Scripture means when it says: “We are right with God through life-giving faith!”

We can only live by faith after we are justified and in right standing with our Heavenly Father. Only the identity of Christ in us, the Hope of Glory, can produce such a Living Faith.
